This body of work explores the transition from childhood to womanhood through the evolving perception of my body and emerging sense of sexuality.

In this coming-of-age exploration, time is non-linear: past and present intertwine as the body continuously shifts in form and meaning.
Engaging with the history of female objectification, I transform the body into everyday disposable objects (coffee filters, playing cards, cigarette packs) to confront and overturn their associations with use and discard. Through humour, exaggeration, and self-portraiture, these transformations become acts of reclamation rather than reduction. What was once a site of external definition becomes a space of agency, resilience, and self-determination.
All works are self-portraits created using the cyanotype printing process.
