FIGURES
is a platform for Slow photography.

Our aim is to lead contemporary photography back to its mindful roots and inspire artists to explore new perspectives through more personal, substantial and meaningful projects, placing the story at the center.

Moving beyond the boundaries of photography, FIGURES embraces image-based practices that question the medium’s definition through conceptual and cross-disciplinary approaches, bridging the gap between photography and contemporary art.

Through print and online publications, open calls, and exhibitions, we foster a dialogue between artists who explore not only what images show, but how and why they exist.
